Influence
Cesar Chavez was a respected person and a great civil right activist, who helped millions of farm worker in America get what they deserve. But he could have never had done all that without the help of father Donald McDonnell who introduced writing and influence of other civil right activist, like Gandhi and Martin Luther King. He even use their tactics like walking many miles to get what he wanted without force or when he fast for 25 day to get the farm producer attention, just like Gandhi did. Or when he boycotted the farm producer like Martin Luther King. But Cesar Chavez being influenced and using their tactic with non-violence to completely accomplish what he wanted for farm workers. It was also the help of others like Robert F. Kennedy and Fred Ross who was the first person to help him do more for people. Robert F. Kennedy started to help Cesar Chavez after being with him for a day. They both believe that what the producers were doing was wrong and they both wanted to stop it without the need of any violence like Gandhi.
